Jamal (Formerly Known As) Greedy |

Jamal was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He began producing music as a kid back in the early 80's/ He also played in a couple of bands. In the late 90's, Jamal was a member and producer of the rap group "Erban Legendz." They performed at many different club venues such as, "Quarters," "Zarkows," "Thai Joes," as well as many others. During that time, Jamal also spend a year of his life incarcerated. Upon his release, he decided to start his own independent record label. He and his friend Earnest Fortune called the label, "Strange Brew." Jamal also merged with another independent label called, "Dead Serious Music." His friend Breeze owned that label. He has produced, composed, and released his first artist, "Greedy" off the Strange Brew label as a joint venture with "Dead Serious Music." Jamal composed a CD titled "Re-up" in 2003. This also was a collaborative venture released on the "Dead Serious Music" label. Jamal also released an underground mix tape called, "Ghetto Classics Volume 1" off his Strange Brew label. This CD sold an amazing 200 copies in less than 3 hours in New York! In February 2007, Jamal released and produced the group "The BlackHole" debut CD "2 Sidez 2 Every Story." In the near future Jamal plans to release a small roster of other artists off the Strange Brew label. With the support of family and friends Jamal has successfully found a way to open the doors and provide a place for talented artists to express themselves.
